I first got addicted to custom license plate holders a couple of years ago, before I made it big off of e-commerce. Back then, I was driving around a beat up old Toyota, and could barely afford the duct tape to hold it together. I thought, what they hey, I may as well indulge on something to fix it up and to show off my spiffy sense of humor. I got a license plate decoration in fancy rococo pattern with those curly lettering which said, quite elegantly, "My other automobile is a pile of rust." People thought that it was so witty that they stopped breaking in and taking my radio (I had lost 3 radios up to that point.) It showed me something - that expressing your personality not only helps you to feel healthier, but makes other individuals more possible to like you as well. In spite of the decrepitude of my automobile, I feel like I got more deference from that point on, largely because of the fact that of my license plate adornment. And if a nice license plate decoration can do that on an old junk Toyota, just picture what it has done to spiff up the BMW that I now drive. It looks fabulous, no doubt about it.
